Bush Farm Bison Centre

The Tipi has been moved from it's original home to the Bush Farm Bison Centre in West Knoyle near Warminster.. I went to visit the centre with Nelso, he asked Colin if it would be possible to keep it at the Centre and Colin and Pepe have agreed to let us use it throughout the season. Pepe is going to allow us to erect the Tipi next to the field they use for the Pow Wow how amazing is that!!!

This is a fantastic achievement for us. the centre is a very spiritual place with Bison, Elk and Deer roaming in the fields. We watched the Bison and their calves drinking at the lakeside through a watchout point it was a very special experience. Nelso felt he had come home. A very Spiritual Native American Soul who lives his life the old ways. He taught me so much in our short time together.

It is here that in July each year they hold the Pow Wow, and when I went there with Nelso I also felt I had come home. I met up with an old friend from Odyssey called Nigel who did some Native American Talks and brought his products that he had made to Odyssey. I also met a lovely man by the name of Richard who plays the Native American Flute. Nelso met both Nigel and Richard.
